Eating for Health Program

MKN Workshop Series: 4 - Week Eating for Health Program

Join Megan for an Online Nutrition and Wellness Workshop Series!

EatingforHealthWorkshop

The Eating for Health® Model of nutrition was developed by Bauman College Founder and President Dr. Ed Bauman. The model recognizes that each person is different, and, as a result, diets should be suited to a person’s individual taste, temperament, needs, access to ingredients, and metabolic tendency. One of the great strengths of the Eating for Health® model is that it can, and naturally will, evolve over time with changing circumstances. This is not a fad diet, or latest trend, but a whole foods approach to nutrition that meets participants where they are.

This program is designed for those wanting to learn the Foundations of Balanced Nutrition to support Digestion, Energy, and Mood.  You will be guided through a series of 4 modules, learning step-by-step how to make positive, practical, and sustainable changes to nourish your mind and body.

"Sometimes being healthy and changing your lifestyle and eating habits can seem really daunting, but Megan helps you see that it’s more than attainable, and actually makes the whole process fun and exciting."

MKN Debunking the Detox Webinar

MKN Online Webinar: Debunking the Detox

Join MKN for an open call to discuss Detoxification

Wellness words you will hear this season: Rejuvenate, Revitalize, Reset, Restart, Cleanse, DETOX. They all have their place in this (sometimes wacky) wellness world, and it is true, Spring is an excellent time for a "fresh start". But these words are too often placed in front of services or products that may or may not be doing your body good. Think Activated Charcoal Smoothies, Water Fasting, and #celeryjuice. As a health and wellness professional, I find these trends in the wellness industry frustrating. What frustrates me about these trends is exactly that, they are trends. Hyped fixes that are marketed to the public as the next thing to heal your problem. I'm offering a chance to discuss these trends and offer insight into healthy detox.

Let's debunk some common misconceptions around detoxification. We will go over:

  • Basic mechanisms of how your body detoxifies

  • Foods to support detox

  • The importance of daily detox

  • Plus, time to ask me your questions around the subject.

When: Tuesday, March 26, 2019, 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Where: Online!  Zoom link provided with registration.

Can't make the call? No worries! A recording of the discussion will be sent to all who register.
